Job Description: As a Pharmacist Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in formulating and administering company policies for compliance, meeting revenue targets, and maintaining strong client relationships. Your expertise in the pharmaceutical industry will be crucial in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand our business and establish new partnerships. This position requires a valid Pharmacist license from Maryland or the ability to acquire one within six months of starting the job.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead a team to meet and exceed revenue targets, ensuring financial success.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and government clients, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth, both within existing accounts and through the identification of potential new sales and partnerships.
  • Engage in on-site client engagements to establish trust and collaboration.
  • Provide innovative drug solutions to government clients, utilizing your deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of account management/client-facing experience, preferably with experience in a national account setting.
  • A valid Pharmacist license from Maryland or the ability to acquire one within six months of starting the position.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of starting the job.
  • Proven experience managing an organizational unit within a Medicaid Agency in a State or U.S. territory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in cost/benefit analysis and experience in P&L management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
